JUST FOR A MOMENT
Abbie Girl,
Today you turned ten weeks old. I can't believe how fast time is going by. I want to stop time today and soak everything in. I want to remember exactly what it was like when you were ten weeks old. Today at a baby shower I held another little girl only 11 days old. She was so tiny and fragile. It's hard to believe that only ten weeks ago you were that tiny.
You are growing so fast. Everyday you weigh a little more and your dimples get a little more dimpled. Everyday you smile a little more. Everyday your laugh gets more boisterous and you make a new sound. Everyday you get cuter which I didn't think was possible. Everyday you bring just a little more joy into my life.
I want to savor it all. I want to remember every little bit of what you were like today and the next day and the day after that for the rest of my life. The truth is I'm already starting to forget. I don't think I'll ever forget what it was like to see your face for the first time or what it was to hold you for the first time. You just get more and more amazing everyday and it does get hard to remember what you were like yesterday and the day before that. Just know that today, the day marking your tenth week here in this world mommie took some time to try to savor this moment in your life.
Love,
Momma
